Job description:

We're looking for an experienced team leader to lead a team on our sites. Under the supervision of the project manager, the team leader will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of arboricultural work.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate the work of team members.
• Carry out tree pruning, felling and maintenance operations in compliance with
  safety standards.
• Ensure that work proceeds according to schedule and company standards.
• Ensure the application of safety protocols and the proper use of equipment.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in arboriculture and team management; ;
• A DEP in arboriculture / pruning is an asset; ;
• Training in arboriculture or relevant certification (SIAQ, ISA, etc.), an asset; ;
• Knowledge of climbing and aerial platform techniques; ;
• Mastery of arboricultural safety standards (CNESST, Hydro-Québec, etc.) ;
• Valid class 5 driver's license (class 1&3, an asset) ;
• Leadership, autonomy and organizational skills; ;
